Early High School had eight students qualify for the 33rd Annual Future Problem Solving State Bowl which was held on Thursday, April 18th in Austin.
At this competition, students are given two hours to use a six-step process to solve challenges given from a future scene. The topic for the State Bowl’s future scene was “Ocean Soup,” a future-based story.Grady Benton, Audrey Horton, Joel Justice, and David Morales competed as a team, in the Senior Division (pictured above).
Vernon Zier, a freshman, competed in the Intermediate Individual Division.
Katie Brown, Amanda Harris, and Crystal Ochoa competed in the Alternate Division, in which competitors from different schools form teams of 3-4 members.
