Students at Early Elementary school are collecting money to be given to CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). The “Change Can Make a Difference” for CASA fundraiser started on Feb. 1 and will continue through Feb. 18.
Students are bringing loose change to support CASA which helps central Texas’ children who have been abused or neglected and are receiving help from a CASA. Donations will be applied to the purchase of much needed supplies for these children and will also provide funding for advocate training.
“Students at Early Elementary are always generous when given opportunities to help others – especially children. Their dedication to making positive contributions amazes me.” 5th grade teacher, Lisa Hunter said.
