The Early Economic Development Corporation presented a $25,000 check to Dr. Bill Campion of Ranger College at their campus at Heartland Mall in Early on Monday morning.
“The Early EDC is happy to be able to assist in the education of future citizens of Early and of Texas as a whole,” said Wanda Furgason, Early Economic Development Corporation (EDC) Executive Director.
According to Furgason, there will be two additional RN instructors added in order to remain in compliance with State Board regulations. Additionally, Furgason stated that Ranger College would like to offer a Day Care Certificate and Early Childhood Education Program in both the one-year Certificate format and the two-year Associate of Applied Science Degree.
“Dr. Campion and his Board of Directors have some great plans for this area and Early is pleased to be an element in the solution,” said Furgason.
