The Early City Council approved a $25,000 contribution to Ranger College from the Early Economic Development Corporation Tuesday

Wanda Ferguson of the Early EDC told council members that this was the second half of a $50,000 total contribution to the college for technology needs.  Ranger College is located at Heartland Mall

In other Early City Council business:

*The council approved the interlocal government agreement between the City of Brownwood and City of Early for fire marshal investigative services.

*The council also approved the transfer of a contract from R&S industries to Loadcraft Industries as a formality to transfer the loan obligation from R&S to Loadcraft for the next 15 years.

*The council also appointed Paul Smithson of Apollo computers to serve on the planning and zoning commission replacing Bennie Dodd who had served for 23 years.

*A decision to ratify an agreement for ambulance and emergency medical services with Guardian EMS was tabled until some wording could be changed in the agreement.
