The Early Chamber recently announced the selection of Good Samaritan Ministries (GSM) as their April Business Spotlight. Good Samaritan Ministries is located at 305 Clark Street in Brownwood.
GSM provides a food pantry, clothing ministry, financial assistance and other services to Brown County residents facing hard times. GSM gives volunteers the opportunities to demonstrate the love of Christ and a way to following His teachings. The public can help this ministry by cleaning out a closet, pantry or a toy chest and making a donation to Good Samaritan or praying for a family that is struggling to make ends meet.
The Good Samaritan clothing room and food pantry are open Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.; and Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Early Chamber board members, ambassadors and staff visited Good Samaritan and presented a potted plant as a gift of appreciation for their support of the Early Chamber through membership and for their service to the community.
