Early Chamber of Commerce will host their monthly meeting from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on February 27th. The luncheon will be held at Prima Pasta Italian Restaurant, located at 210 Early Blvd, in Early. The public is invited to attend.
Guest speaker Nicki Harle will address the topic “Moving Rural Forward.” Harle is a consultant of rural marketing and strategy planning.
Nicki Harle is a native of Columbus TX, which has a population of 3,500 and is located south of Austin. She moved to Callahan County 40 years ago as a newlywed and helped husband Rob establish Callahan County Veterinary Clinic. Harle was one of the founders of Texas Midwest Community Network in 1993 and served as its executive director for 20 years.
After stepping down in 2013 she began a consulting service called Moving Rural Forward. The service offers facilitation for community planning and board orientations for local elected officials and economic development organizations, organization assessments for small chambers of commerce and marketing strategies for small businesses.
