The Early Chamber of Commerce is looking for a creative slogan to represent Early Texas, and they are looking for help from Brown County residents.
The Early Chamber is hosting a “Tag Line Contest” to help get the creative juices flowing and find that winning tag line for Early. Early is seeking a marketable, short, catchy slogan that personifies what the city of Early is all about.
Those interested in entering need to write their proposed tag line on a 4×6 piece of paper with their name & contact information on the back of the paper. The contest is open to all Brown County residents, there is no age limit, and only 5 entries per person is allowed. The tag line cannot be the same slogan for any other city within 200 miles of the city of Early & no currently copy-written slogans will be accepted.
There will be a panel of 5 judges to determine the winner & the deadline to enter the contest is September 14th. Judges will determine the winner by the end of September, but the winning tag line will not be announced until the Chamber’s awards banquet on October 13th.
The winner of the contest will receive a basket full of coupons, gift certificates, and freebies from local merchants valued at a minimum of $500.
Entries can be dropped off or mailed to the Early Chamber of Commerce at 104 E. Industrial or be dropped off at the following locations before the September 14th deadline:
