The Early Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the second of a three-part class for businesses next week on using social media. The course will cover creating a Facebook page for a business, how to promote the page and get “likes” and the impact social media has on a business.
The second of these classes scheduled for Wednesday February 20, 2013 from 11:30 AM to 1 PM is called “Setting Up your Facebook Profile.” The following class – “How to Set Up a Fan Page” – will take place the 3rd Wednesday in March. This is a hands-on workshop so participants are encouraged to bring an iPad, tablet, laptop or smart phone.
The classes will be presented by Ken S. Davis and will take place from at the Early Chamber of Commerce, 104 E. Industrial Dr. Cost for each class is $12 and includes a light lunch.
The first class held in January was well attended and preregistration is encouraged to guarantee a spot in the class. Contact the Early Chamber of Commerce for more information or to register at 325-649-9317.
