The Texas Teenage Baseball 8U Player Pitch and 14U state tournaments wrapped up Thursday night with one local team taking the second place title.
The Early Cardinals defeated the Early Diamondbacks Thursday night 7-6 in the TTAB 8U Player Pitch Tournament sending the Cardinals to the championship game Thursday night at Early City Park. In the end, the Bosqueville Heat came out on top with a 15-2 victory and ending the tournament.
The TTAB 14U tournament also wrapped up Thursday night at the Massey Sports Complex in Brownwood with a 7-1 win for the Killeen Orioles over the Edgewood Titans in the championship game.
