A celebration of life service for Dusty Apple, age 20, of Brownwood, will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 14, 2013 at the Austin Avenue Church of Christ with Tom Washburn, Sean Fitzgerald and Michael McCoy officiating. Burial will take place at 11:00 AM in Eastlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.

Dusty William Apple was born on April 8, 1993 in Abilene. He was the son of Mark and Melody Casey of Brownwood and Andy and Elizabeth Apple of San Antonio. He passed away at his home in Brownwood on Dec 11, 2013. He attended school in Brownwood until mid-semester of his freshman year. He graduated from Claudia Taylor (Lady Bird) Johnson High School in 2011. He was a student at the University Of Texas where he was a member of TAU KAPPA EPSILON fraternity majoring in Economics.He was really into football and wrestling. He loved camp Blue Haven in Las Vegas, New Mexico with the church youth group. He was very involved in youth activities at church.
He is survived by his parents Mark and Melody of Brownwood Texas, and Andy and Elizabeth Apple of San Antonio, his sister Shilah Casey, and brother Alex Apple; his grandparents are Ron and Millie Apple of Dallas, Dick and Hazel Casey of Abilene, Donna Casey of Abilene, Sarah Hausenfluck of Austin, Mickey and Norita Hausenfluck of Clear Lake, cousins Makenlee Moore, Mabree Moore, McClane Moore of Brownwood, Will Cottle of Houston, Chase Cottle of Austin, and Hunter Cottle of Austin, Emily Garner of Dallas, Kristen and Chris Lieder of Dallas, Kyle and Blake Apple of Denton, Caleb, Corey, and Ema Apple of Denton.
He was preceded in death by grandparents Doyce (Dusty) and Glenda Moore.
