Brown County emergency responders were called to a one-vehicle rollover accident approximately 3 miles west of Brownwood Saturday afternoon around 4:30pm where only minor injuries were reported.

A black passenger car was traveling east on U.S. Highway 67/84 when it ran off the road, struck a mesquite tree, and rolled over in the median.  The male driver walked away from the accident with an injury to his thumb according to first responders on scene.  The driver declined transport to the hospital.

Traffic was slowed in the outside lane of incoming traffic to Brownwood, then shut down momentarily while the accident scene was cleared.

Bangs Volunteer Fire Department, Texas Department of Public Safety, and Guardian EMS responded to the accident scene.
