Funeral services for Dr. Paul Louis Fragua, Sr. age 69, of Brownwood, Texas will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, May 21, 2013 at the Heartland Funeral Home The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. He passed away Friday, May 17, 2013 at his residence. Cremation will follow the service.
Paul Louis Fragua was born on September 24, 1943 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Louis A. and Pauline Jonas Fragua. He graduated from Abilene High School, McMurry University and received his Doctorate degree from University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He worked in Brownwood since 1976 in Obstetrics and Gynecology where he delivered many babies. On August 4, 2000 he married Shirley Fowler in Brownwood. He loved the University of Texas and was a big Brownwood Lions Fan. Later in his life he enjoyed playing bridge with his bridge club.

Grandchildren: Krista Fragua, Scout Fragua, Adam Hernandez and Zoe Hernandez
Sisters: Jon Ella Long and husband Granville of Lawton, Oklahoma; Debra Edgerly of Kerrville, Texas
Mother-in-law: Noma Lee Fowler of Brownwood
Former wife: Judy Fragua of Brownwood
He was preceded in death by his parents.
