Dorris passed away Thursday, December 29, 2011, in Brownwood, Texas.
Dorris was born on September 21, 1920 in Desmonia, Texas to Thomas E. and Lillie E. Scoggins Stevens.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Coy L. Evans, and her son, Gerald T. Evans.
She is survived by her son, Donald L. Evans from Houston, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held at Eastlawn Cemetery, Early, Texas at 11:00am on Sunday, January 1, 2012. Services are under the direction of Davis-Morris Funeral Home.
