Funeral Services for Dorothy Dickey Trammell, age 82, of Early, Texas will be held 7 PM Sunday, March 13, 2016 at the Heartland Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Trammell passed away Friday, March 11, 2016 in a local nursing home.
Dorothy Faye was born on July 22, 1933 in May, Texas to Odis and Vivian Kate Whatley Brown. She attended school in May, Goldthwaite, Early and Odessa. Mrs. Trammell had resided in Early since 1998 and was a homemaker.
Survivors include three sons, Timmy Howard Dickey, George Randall Dickey and R.L. Dickey; one daughter Zada Belle Dickey Gravell; one sister Vera O’hearon and by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Thomas Trammell, son Stanley Rex Dickey, sisters Vivian McBride, Nelta Brown, Lois Foster, Lola Mae Fisher, Evelyn Jay Strasser and by a brother Arthur Ray Brown.
