MooreDorisFuneral services for Doris Moore, 71, of Clyde, formerly of Brownwood, will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, March 1, in the Netherton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Brian Hall officiating. Interment will follow in Greenleaf Cemetery under the direction of Netherton Funeral Home and Cremations. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm on Wednesday, February 29, at the funeral home.

Ms. Moore passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2012, in Abilene, Texas.

Doris Pauline Allen was born on July 5, 1940, in Letitia, Kentucky, to John Sherman Allen and Ellen Bethany Fraley Allen. She had worked at Texas Feathers for 15 years and at Cross Country Healthcare for 15 years as the housekeeping supervisor. She was a member of the Haven of Hope Church, and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Rita Moore of Clyde; Claudia and Gregg Gossett of Clyde; and Billy and Christi Moore of Clyde; grandchildren, Larry Dudley, Amanda Dudley and Cory Jones, Alexis Catron, Delaney Catron, Payton Moore, Randell and Dani Gossett and Samantha and Rob Lynch; great-grandchildren, Elijah, Jeremiah, and Lindsey Dudley, Harlei Jones, Riley Johnson, Paisley Johnson, Noah Young, Skylar Lynch and Alex Gossett.

She is also survived by her brother, Richard Allen of Piketon, OH; sisters, Emma Stephens of Wheelersburg, OH,  Mary Browning of Piketon OH, Lucille and Bob Bishop of East Palestine, OH, Essie Bledsoe of Portsmouth, OH, Bessie Roe of South Shore, KY and Garnet and J.C. Roe of South Shore, KY.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Clyde Moore and Robert Moore; brothers, Clyde Allen, James Allen, Johnny Allen and Charles Allen; sister, Bertha Fout and two grandsons, Charles Catron and Tyler Moore.
