Funeral services for Donna Lynn Drury, age 57, of Austin, formerly of Bangs, will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 10, 2016 in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Bangs Cemetery.
Donna passed from this life on Tuesday, December, 6, 2016 in an Austin hospital.
Donna Lynn Drury was born on October 30, 1959 in Brownwood to Don and Shirley (Kesler) Drury. She was raised in Bangs and graduated in the Bangs High School Class of 1977. Donna was a member of the Bangs First United Methodist Church. She had been a resident of Austin for the past 25 years where she worked as a regional floral department manager for H-E-B. Donna’s H-E-B Partners were her extended family.
Donna is survived by her brother Jimmy Drury and his wife Sheri of Stephenville, two nephews, Ty Drury and Zane Drury, both of Stephenville, special longtime friend, Ellen Swanger of Austin, and numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Donna had a special love for animals. The family requests that memorials be made in memory of Donna to a favorite animal charity.
