Friends of Joe and Becky Alcorta, who lost their home in Early Wednesday morning to a fire, have set up a benefit account at TexasBank. The family did not have homeowners’ insurance, according to Fire Marshal Buddy Preston. Those wishing to make a monetary donation may go to any TexasBank location and make a deposit in the “Becky Alcorta” account.
Sparks Insurance has agreed to help the family by being the designated drop off location for other donations such as household, clothing and other items lost to the fire.
