Diana Lynn Simpson, age 50, of May went to be with the Lord Jesus whom she loved dearly on Monday, May 20, 2013.
Services for Diana will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday May 24, 2013 at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel with Jim Maxwell and Dan Chapman officiating, interment will follow at the May Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home.
Diana was born to Nancy (Dendy) Swaney on July 11, 1962 in Kansas, they later moved to Lovington, New Mexico. Her healthcare profession brought her to Brownwood her she met the love of her life, La Roy. They married in January 1994 after dating for two months. Diana had many hobbies she loved including sewing and quilting, riding her horses Jasper and Goliath, painting, and reading. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends around the fire at the bunkhouse.She leaves behind her husband La Roy Simpson; two daughters Nichole Sanchez and Lindsey Michelle Buzbee; son Casey Douglas Simpson; brother Johnnie Gibson and wife Lanae; sister Staci Davis; grandchildren Jarryn, Jevvyn, Jasmine, Aviree, Zane, Amboree; three nieces and three nephews.
She is preceded in death by her mother Nancy Gibson; maternal grandparents Douglas and Anna Dendy; paternal grandparents Harold and Helen Swaney; and infant sister Pamela Ann Gibson.
