Brown County Sheriff’s Deputies were kept busy Sunday afternoon investigating numerous reports of vehicle burglaries near Zephyr and Lake Brownwood.
Reports of at least 7 vehicle burglaries in or near Zephyr were reported to the Sheriff’s office in close proximity to each other. Several items were taken from some of the vehicles including a digital camera, some cash, and a switch box. Damage to one of the vehicle seats was also reported. Sheriff’s reports indicate that the burglaries occurred either late Saturday night or early Sunday morning.
Several DVD’s were found in one of the burglarized vehicles which were reported stolen from another vehicle in the area.
All of the vehicles were reported to be unlocked at the time of the burglaries.
