As a part of the Depot Centennial Celebration that took place on August 6th, organizers of the event had a very special cake on hand that made an impression on those in attendance.
Kim Combs, owners of Flour Power – Cakes by Kim, created a cake especially for the event which was in the shape of the Depot. The cake was a wonderful and tasty replica of the historic building, and a popular attraction at the celebration. Kim captured many details of the Depot’s exterior from recent photos taken of the facility.
The cake was so striking that it became an unexpected attraction at the event right along with the museum displays.
Flour Power – Cakes by Kim is located inside of Twisted Sisters To-Go at 2803 Austin Avenue – (325) 643-0216.
