Visitors to the Stars of Texas Juried Art Exhibit can learn about art while viewing the exhibit which is proudly displayed at the Depot Civic and Cultural Center this week as demonstrations highlight a week full of art and talent.

Monday featured Jean Hensley- tatting, Shirley Minzenmayer-paper beads and Maryellen Strinni-artist trading cards.  More demonstrations throughout the remainder of the exhibit will focus on a variety of art mediums and styles.

The Stars of Texas Juried Art Exhibit is open 9am-6pm weekdays, Saturday 9am-4pm, and Sunday 1pm-4pm through February 17th.  Those in attendance may vote for their favorite piece to receive the People’s Choice Ribbon which will be announced February 13th.

The remainder of the week will showcase the following artist demonstrations.  Demonstrations take place 9am-3pm the following days:
