Funeral Mass for Delia Tuckness, 65, of Brownwood will held at 2 PM Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at St. Mary’s Queen of Peace Church.  Burial will follow at Greenleaf Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Monday, January 22 at Davis-Morris Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7.

Alma Delia Bastardo was born May 28, 1952 in Brownwood to Pedro G. and Francisca (Garcia) Bastardo.  She graduated from Brownwood High School, and worked for 33 years at Kohler Company.  Delia married Bill Tuckness in June, 2015 in Brownwood.  Delia was very adventurous, there was nothing she wouldn’t try.  She loved the outdoors, the lake, river and music.  She loved to dance.  Her infectious smile will be truly missed by her husband, children and grandchildren, who were her world.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include her husband, Bill Tuckness of Brownwood; children Leticia and Reynaldo Torrez of Brownwood, Victor Mendoza of Brownwood, Travis Tuckness of Brady and Taylor Tuckness of Rockport; grandchildren Maricella Vargas, Daniela Castillo, and Daniel Castillo, Jr.; three great grandchildren, Alianna Tellez, Lysette Tellez, and Xeyvion Gilbert Garza; brothers and sisters, Mary and Roger Rodriguez, Pete and Patricia Bastardo, and Minnie and Kenny Peterson; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Francisca Bastardo.
