Delbert Marrion Mitchell passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2019 in Austin, Texas at the age of 79.
He was born September 18, 1940 in Coleman, Texas to Archie Mitchell and Lula Mae (Keeney). Delbert was a resident of Llano for 21 years since coming from Coleman, Texas. He taught Sunday School and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Coleman.
Delbert is survived by his sons, Edward Dale Mitchell, Gary Lynn Mitchell, and James Marcus Mitchell and wife Kayla; brothers, Osie Lee Mitchell, and Douglas Carol Mitchell; 3 grandchildren, Jenna Martinez, Statin Baker, and Marcus Mitchell; several nieces and nephews and special nieces Phyllis Odom and husband Eddie, and Debra Mitchell.
Family will celebrate Delbert’s life on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at the Granite O Bar in Llano, Texas.
