Michael Dee Reynolds was born April 7, 1958, in Lubbock, Texas, to Calvin Earl and Dorothy Lee (Lackey) Reynolds. Dee grew up on the family farm and graduated from Lorenzo High School as a very proud Hornet. He went on to get his degree from Texas Tech University and was a lifelong, full blood Red Raider.  He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Dee was a strong Christian man with unshakable faith.  He was ordained as a deacon at First Baptist Church Lorenzo and was also a member of Coggin Avenue Baptist Church in Brownwood.  Dee was an accomplished banker currently employed at Texas Bank where he served as the Executive Vice President Chief Credit Officer.  Dee was active with numerous civic organizations during his life.  In Lorenzo, he was a member of the Lion’s Club and after moving to Brownwood he joined the Brownwood Kiwanis Club, where he had served as president.

Dee was a loving husband, father, and Grandad. He loved music, played bass guitar, and was a legendary storyteller. He cherished his grandchildren and was deeply loved by them. Dee was a man who changed a room when he entered it and very few people who knew him well walked away the same.

Dee was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Dorothy Reynolds, and his father-in-law, Marvin McKenzie.

Dee is survived by his loving wife, Christine Reynolds of Brownwood; his son, Trey Reynolds and wife Julie of Lubbock; his daughter, Denee Lopez and husband Andy of Pampa; his grandchildren, Asanda Reynolds, Addilee Lopez, Rylan Lopez, Clementine Reynolds, and Eli Lopez; his brothers, Carl Reynolds and wife Diann, of Lake Brownwood and David “Buddy” Reynolds and wife Donna of Brownwood; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and a host of friends.
