Funeral services for Dean White, age 93, of Early, will be at 1:00 PM, Thursday, December 28, 2017 in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial with military honors will follow in the May Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.

Mr. White passed from this life on Sunday, December 24, 2017.

Hubert Dean White was born near Trigger Mountain in Mills County on February 3, 1924 to Elijah and Ollie Mae (Perry) White.  He married Gwen Anderson on January 19, 1946. He was a much beloved Father of six children. He was preceded in death by his only son, H. Dean White, Jr. and his wife, Gwen White in 2015.

Dean was raised in Brown County and Tuscola and joined the US Navy in World War II where he served in the Pacific Theater.  He owned and operated White Crown Campers in Round Rock.  Gwen and Dean retired back to Early in 1987.  He loved the outdoors, especially fishing.  Dean never met a stranger and was always quick to talk to people about his faith in Jesus Christ.

Dean is survived by five daughters, Sharon Stradley and her husband, Paul of Wichita Falls, Rhonda Tanguma and husband, Noel of Elgin, Carolyn Davidson husband Charles of Austin, and Vanessa White of Elgin, Tina Crelia and husband Bobby Hoyt Crelia of Early. She is also survived, 12 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Dean devoted his entire life to loving and taking care of his family, and he will be missed.
