Funeral services for David Wright, age 86, of Brownwood, Texas will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, March 20, 2016 at the Heartland Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Greenleaf Cemetery. Mr. Wright passed away Friday, March 18, 2016 in a local nursing home.
David Carrasco Wright was born in Alpine, Texas and was a Veteran of The United States Army. He was married to Celestina Gonzales in Pecos. David was a retired custodian for the Pecos Independent School District and had resided in Brownwood since 1990.
Survivors include his daughters Belinda Allen and husband Carl of Brownwood, Elda Fuentes and husband Alfredo of Pecos; one son Ernest Wright and wife Jeannie of Pecos; and by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother Susie Wright, wife Celestina Wright, son David Wright, Jr., brother William Wright and sisters Guadalupe Orosco and Annie DelaRosa.
Heartland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
