David Shultz, 62, of Brownwood, passed away on April 2, 2014 at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1 pm to 5 pm on Sunday, April 6, at the Adams Street Community Center in Brownwood.
Mr. Shultz was cremated under the direction of Netherton Funeral Home and Cremations.
David Dean Schultz was born on July 4, 1951, in Rochester MN to Alex Frederick Schultz and Gladys Lavonne Weeks Schultz. He married Mary Slaughter on May 23, 1987. Together they made their home in Rochester where David attended Rochester Vo-Tech receiving training to be a chef. He had lived in Brownwood for the last nine years moving here from Rochester, and had worked as a Chef. He loved to cook, bake and make candy and enjoyed riding motorcycles in his spare time.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Mary Schultz; children, Davalyn Schultz and Shane Schultz, both of Rochester MN ; three brothers, six sisters and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Gladys Schultz; and his twin sister, Diane Schultz.
