My Beloved Husband and Father David Moreno at the age of 42 went to rest with the Lord on April 18, 2013 at Brownwood Regional after a brief illness and sent us a little angel to take his place on earth. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, April 22, 2013 at the Heartland Funeral Home with interment to follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park.
David was born to Reyes and Alberta Moreno on Aug, 15, 1970 in Corpus Christi, Texas. On, Aug. 22, 1985 he married Sylvia Lopez Moreno in Brownfield, TX. They lived in Brownwood and Early for the past 25 years where he had worked for Brownwood Manufacturing, Kohler and Smith Roofing until the time of his illness.
He is survived by his wife Sylvia L. Moreno of almost 28 years; five precious sons David Anthony Moreno , Jeremy David Moreno and wife Jessica of Brownwood, Christopher David Moreno, Andres David Moreno and Isaiah Alexander Moreno of Early; parents Reyes and Alberta Moreno of Brownwood; three sisters Diana Alabi and husband Jorge, Christina Moreno, Michelle Moreno all of Brownwood; father-in-law and mother-in-law Jesse and Angelita Lopez of Brownwood; two brothers-in-law Jesse Lopez, Jr. and wife Lisa, Rollie Lopez all of Brownwood; nephews Jonathan and Nicholas Moreno of Brownwood; nieces Tiffany and Chelsea Moreno, Miranda Hinajosa and Alisabel Lopez all of Brownwood; special acquaintances Mary Ann Lancaster, Monica Barrajas and Devitt Kenard all of Brownwood; grandchildren Jakob, Ezekiel, Ian, Jenna and Hanna Moreno all of Brownwood and by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Toribio and Dolores Moreno, Faustino and Manuela Zapata; niece Ashley Nicole Moreno; nephews David Ray and Louis Paul Moreno; granddaughter Aidrean Dream; sister-in-law Diana Lopez. Last but not least, his special friend and cousin Robert L. Lopez. Now they can fight roosters again.
