David Andrus, age 67, of Brownwood passed away Friday, January 24, 2014.
Memorial Services for David will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at The Father’s House in San Saba with Pastor Bobby Duncan officiating.
David was born on February 15, 1946 to Jony and Loma Mae (Jones) Andrus in Huntsville, AR. He was a US Navy Veteran. After the Navy, David worked for the US Postal Service as a carrier. He loved fishing and was a devoted family man.
He is survived by is his sisters; Darlene Flannagan of Ocean City, MD, and Dixie Andrus of PA; daughter, Deidra Lawson of Brownwood; sons, Alan Yarbrough of N.M., and Bobby Duncan of Merkle; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; niece, June Flannagan; and a nephew.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Josie Andrus; brother, Sam Andrus; and nephew, David Flannagan.
