Darrell Wayne Mobley our beloved father, husband, paw-paw, grampi, Comanchero, Derail and friend; passed from this earth to be with Jesus on February 7th, 2016. He will be dearly missed. He spent his whole life working and he was a man of many talents. He was our cowboy with a heart as big as Texas. No matter where he went he never met a stranger.
He was born September 11, 1945 in Brownwood and lived most of his life in Bangs, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, J.C. (Jake) Mobley and mother Juanita Martin
He is survived by his wife Brenda Mobley, sons Danny Mobley and wife Janie of Bangs; Jeff Mobley and wife Kelly of Brownwood; Hollis Waddle and wife Cindy of Brownwood; daughter Brandi Sterry and husband Monty of Maple Grove, MN; grandchildren Kaci Sterry, Jessica Sterry, Misty Mobley, Jacob (Jake) Mobley, Emma Mobley, Colt Waddle, Kayli Waddle, Larry Miller, Brittany Miller, Loran Neece, Travis Williams, Jayden Williams and 8 great grandchildren.Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, February 11, 2016 at the Heartland Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Clear Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
