Danny Joe Holt, age 76, of Bangs Texas passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Brownwood Regional Medical. Cremation was under the direction of the Heartland Funeral Home. A private service will be held l by his family to celebrate his life.
Danny was born on February 10, 1935 in Slaton, Texas to Clarence Gordon and Ruby Lee Sanders Holt. He was married to Phyllis Shafer in Clovis, New Mexico and she preceded him in death. A resident of Slaton for the majority of his life he moved to Bangs in 2004 and owned and operated the Honey Do Shop in Brownwood.

Son: Andy Holt and wife Lisa of Lubbock, Texas
Sister: Bonnie Booher of El Paso, Texas
Brother: Jerry Holt of California
5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Heartland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
