The Brownwood Art Association extends an open invitation to the community to attend their monthly demonstration meeting on October 13th at 1:30pm. The featured artist will be watercolorist Daniel Adams of Burnet, Texas. The demonstration is offered at no cost and offers the opportunity to watch and learn from a renowned artist in a local setting.
Daniel Adams is an accomplished and renowned artist that has settled in the Hill Country of Texas. He has won hundreds of awards including Best of Show awards across the United States, was head of an art department for Disney World, has drawn over two hundred thousand people, has taught different art processes, juried shows, and designed the Challenger license plate for the State of Florida (the proceeds built the Astronaut Memorial at Cape Canaveral). He also designed the Official Flag for Orange County, Florida. He is a founding member of “The Open Arts Alliance”, an art gallery owner, and winner of “Idea of the Year” at Walt Disney World. Adams has also been an Art Director for Metrovision Motion Picture Studios. He has been the winner of several poster design competitions and received the “Ambassador’s Award” from the Astronauts’ Memorial Foundation, their highest honor to bestow. Adams believes many of the problems of the world can be solved through the arts. “Go forth each day with creativity and positive thoughts and change your world.”
