Dallas Marshall of Brownwood passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018, at his home with family by his side. Memorial Services will be held Monday January 7th at 10am at Brownwood Funeral Home chapel located at 2512 Belle Plain. Private interment will be held Friday January 4, 2019 at the Texas state veterans cemetery in Abilene.
Dallas was born January 13, 1944 in Jeffersonville, IN to Mary Ruth and Jake Marshall. Dallas attended Jeffersonville schools,. Soon after school Mr. Marshall joined the United States Army. In August of 1976 Dallas Marshall married the love of his life Linda Winkels. Dallas was a member of the Coggin Ave. Baptist Church. Dalls loved the Dallas cowboys, Texas rangers, He loved bingo and he loved cleaning youth fields and watching kids play baseball.
Dallas was preceded in death by 3 borthers, and 2 sisters
Left to cherish his memories are: wife; Linda Marshall, sons; David Marshall wife- Jan of Brownwood, Tony Marshall of Indiana, daughter; Allison Gullion of Indiana, Melissa of Houston, His best friend, his Dog, 1 brother, 1 child, 9 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
