Funeral services for Dale Ryan, 54, of Clyde, will be held at 1 pm Tuesday, July 2nd at Haven of Hope in Brownwood, TX with Pastor Brian Hall officiating. Dale passed away June 28, 2019 in Abilene, TX.
Heartland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He was born May 25, 1965. He was the son of Desmond and Linda Ryan. His grandparents were Roxie and Leah Blanton, and Alfred and Beatrice Ryan.
Dale was a 1984 graduate of Blanket High School. He loved playing football for the Blanket Tigers. He also was a big fan of Brownwood Softball. Many of his friends know him as Tiny. He played until he was no longer able, and then remained a part of the game by keeping books for as long as he remained in Brownwood.
Dale married the love of his life, Cynthia Ryan on May 4th, 2007. She brought him so much joy and he sure enjoyed her cooking. Cynthia was an amazing wife and his best friend.
Dale loved God and he loved family. He may have died young, but he was at peace with where he would spend eternity.
Dale is survived by his wife, Cynthia Ryan of Clyde; stepson, Tim Beason of Waco; sister, Shirley McEntire of Brownwood; nephew and niece, Jeff and Samantha Myers of Sweetwater; niece, Michaela McEntire of Brownwood, great-nephew, Braxton Ryan of Sweetwater, great-nieces, Jaedyn Bartee, Hadleigh Myers and Presley Myers all of Sweetwater, uncles and aunts, Eddie and Gloria Thompson of Early, Dollie Tidwell of Blanket, Preston and Barbara Blanton of Brownwood, and a great number of cousins whom he loved very much, as well as friends that were like family to him.
He will be missed greatly but never forgotten.
