Dale was born August 7th, 1953 in Litchfield, IL to George and Dorothy (Stamer) Frerichs. He worked in the road construction industry for 30 plus years prior to being diagnosed with cancer. He also did many other things such as working as a county commissioner and volunteer fire fighter.

Beginning at an early stage, Dale grew up working on a farm where he learned many things. He loved planting and growing crops so much he would later go on to apply those same farming skills in his daily life.  Dale was a very passionate and hardworking individual who gave it his all in everything he did. He loved growing relationships with people and seeing that those relationships sprout and grow to fruition. Dale was gifted with a special talent of making people happy, who, each day made it his mission to love and help everyone in need. He always enjoyed joking and making the most out of every situation. His favorite farewell to nearly every conversation was “GOODNIGHT!”, no matter the time of day. His motor grader experience and knowledge garnered him the nickname” blade freak” at work for his ability to take on and tackle tough jobs under stressful deadlines where others failed. Dale was loyal, trustworthy, confident, and dependable which made him a leader and role model amongst his co-workers, friends and family. His most favorite hobbies included bbqing, watching nascar/football, and working on house projects.
