Brownwood News – Due to the increasing concerns of COVID-19, the Christian Women’s Job Corps has postponed its March 24 fundraiser until later this year, directors Casey Moore and Bettie Evans have announced.
“CWJC wants to follow the CDC guidelines and help prevent the spreading of this virus,” a statement issued by the two directors explained. “We are taking necessary steps to make sure our facility, volunteers and students are safe. Thank you for understanding and supporting our agency.”
The CWJC board will reschedule the fundraiser for the fall of 2020. In a letter to sponsors, the directors said each will be contacted soon to update them on a new date, and they were thanked for their continued support of the organization.
