Graveside Services for Curtis Lee Dudley, Sr., age 71, of Brownwood, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at the Jenkin Springs Cemetery with Ryan Smithey officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Davis Morris Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 6:00 to 7:00.
Curtis was born in Brownwood, Texas on July 3, 1938 and went to be with his Heavenly Savior on September 26, 2009. He was a salesman most of his life and later worked for the county of Comanche until he retired
Mr. Dudley leaves behind a spouse of 47 years, Peggy Dudley.
Curtis is survived by his children, Dr. Curtis Lee, Jr. and Patti Dudley and their children, Adam and Tyler Dudley. Sharon and Craig Fox and their children, Rankon, Rece, Courtney, Zachary and Sarah. Bobby and Tina Dudley and their children Christopher Dudley, deceased, and Stephanie and her deceased husband, Matt Smith. Mr. Dudley has two great grandchildren, Daisha and Austin Smith.
Mr. Dudley is survived by 4 brothers and sister-in-laws, Leon and Ruth, Willie and Marie, Jack Allen and Betty, Rocky Dudley, and 1 sister Alfie Marie Bryson, two sister-in-laws, Virgie and Nelda Dudley. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Cordie Dudley, 2 brothers, Bob Lee and Lawrence Dudley, and son-in-law, Randy Laney.
He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He will be greatly missed.
