Cross Classical Academy recently hosted a Poetry Chapel and Science Fair. Students in Pre-K through third grade presented classical poetry and songs. Logic students presented poetry they individually composed.
Students also hosted a Science Fair immediately following the poetry recitation. Pre-K through second grade presented their classroom experiments, ranging from taste bud exploration, planting and growing flowers and family DNA. Third through seventh grade students displayed their findings from research done outside the classroom. Various fields of experiments included, the truth behind the five second rule, washing hands with soap vs water; the effects of caffeine on plant growth; the effect of video games on blood pressure and more.The students presented to their fellow CCA students as well as the public.
