Cross Classical Academy recently sent two robotics teams to the San Angelo Stock Show Robotics competition hosted by the Texas Computer Education Association. Students from grades fourth through fifth competed against teams from across the area. This was CCA’s second competition in the area of robotics. The teams placed 7th and 14th out of 57 teams represented.
Team members began working on their robot and program in September. Their goal was to assemble a robot and program it to accomplish an assigned task.Placing in 7th were team members Brooklyn Butka of Brownwood and Ridge Stegemoller of Priddy and placing in 14th were Tyler Mitchell and Sophia Butka both of Brownwood.
