Heart of Texas Crime Stoppers and the Brownwood Police Department are asking the public for help solving a recent crime.
At approximately 3 p.m. on May 5, 2015, a Hispanic female entered a Checks-Plus Store in Brownwood and cashed a United States Treasury check for an IRS refund. To cash the check, the female used a Permanent Resident Card, which is believed to be fraudulent. The suspect is pictured left.
