Brownwood News – On May 14, 2020 the Brownwood/Brown County Health Department received 114 negative test results.
Out of the 114 negative results, 100 were from the nursing home facility, and 14 were from community members not affiliated with the nursing home.
The nursing home facility is continuing to do mass testing on a regular basis until they have two weeks without a positive test result.
The total COVID-19 cases in Brown County remains at 51.
The Health Department has not received the results from the first mobile drive through testing which took place on Tuesday, May 12.
A second mobile drive through COVID-19 testing site by the Texas National Guard will be in Brownwood on Saturday, May 16 from 10 am to 4 pm at the Coggin Intermediate School gym parking lot located at 800 Rogan Street.
