Committees for the Brownwood Reunion Celebration met at their regular weekly planning meeting yesterday afternoon to go over updates and progress of the big event.
One announcement that Executive Director Randee Green made during the meeting was that two new competitions were added to this years Reunion.
The first new competition announced was a Swamp Volleyball Tournament. This will basically be a volleyball tournament where players play in a mud filled court. Team registration forms are not yet available, but will be added to the Reunion website soon.
The other event announced is a Guitar Hero Contest, which will no doubt appeal to a young crowd of video game enthusiasts. Entry forms are not yet available for this contest, but will also be posted soon.
The 1950’s themed Brownwood Reunion Celebration for 2009 is shaping up to be the biggest one yet.
