Break out those dancing shoes because the 2009 Brownwood Reunion Celebration will feature a new dance contest event this year.
Those who enter the Rock’in Robin Dance Contest will be contacted about the time and place for the first round of the competition to be held on Saturday, September 12th. The top three in each age bracket will advance to the Reunion competition to be held on Saturday, September 19th at 1pm for the overall Grand Champion.
Age brackets are 5-12, 13-17, 18-29, 30-44, and 45+.
Contestants can enter as individuals, partners, or groups and all dance styles will be permitted. There will be cash prize and metal awarded for 1st place in each age bracket & overall grand champion. 2nd & 3rd places will receive medals.
The entry fee is $20 & entry forms are due by September 4th so those interested are encouraged to enter as soon as possible.
