Corinne T. Smith Animal Center is hosting its Sixth Annual Canine Costume Contest this coming Saturday, October 29, from 2pm to 4pm, at the Animal Shelter.
A number of prizes for such things as Most Beautiful Costume, Scariest Costume, and Best Canine & Owner Costumes will be awarded. Each entry is only $10, and 100% of this will be used to care for homeless CTSAC animals.
This is an event that shows off cute pets and creative owners while raising money for a great cause, the homeless animals of CTSAC.
In addition to the Costume Contest, the Ron Jackson juvenile facility will be having a demonstration of the students and dogs in their PAWS program. Pet owners will also be able to get their dogs micro chipped for only $20.
