Corine Thomas, age 85 of Brownwood, Texas died, Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at Oak Ridge Manor.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, January 8, 2010 at Greenleaf Cemetery. The family will receive friends 4-5 PM, Thursday, January 7, 2010 at Heartland Funeral Home.
Corine Crossland was born January 29, 1924 in Holland, Texas in Bell county. The daughter of the late William Arthur and Nola Happmann Crossland. She married Normie Thomas and was a member of the 4th and Stewart Church of Christ. She was a member of the Descendants of Austin’s Old Three Hundred, Farmer Texas Rangers Association, Daughter’s of the Republic, Welcome Chandler Chapter; Permian Basin China Painting Association, Daughters of the American Revolution, Comancheria Chapter; Brown county Historical Society, Pecan Valley Genealogical Society, Siege of Beyar Descendants Association, Descendants of San Jacinto, The society of the Colonial Dames of America and the Rebecca Lodge #152. Corine was a homemaker and had lived most of her life in Brownwood.
