Organizers for the Brownwood Reunion Celebration’s Hands on a House competition announced the 24 selected contestants for the weekend-long contest Tuesday.
During the Hands on a House competition, participants compete for a custom built playhouse by keeping their hand in contact with the house for the duration of the Reunion. Contestants will be provided with limited breaks during the competition. The last person with their hand in contact with the house is declared the winner and wins the playhouse.
The 2013 Hands on a House winner will take home the 20 x 24 foot Texas-style cabin custom built by Johnny Cantwell.
There will also be several side competitions during the event including a food drive.
The competition kickoff will begin at 5 PM Friday and run until a winner is named on Sunday.

The number of prizes and how they will be awarded are changing this year as well. A nice second prize will be awarded along with several other prizes for top finishers. A twist to the challenge this year will be prizes to bribe contestants to quit or continue the challenge, testing their willpower as well as mental and physical strength.
