ConleyRoweWedAnnouncementCharly Cheian Conley and Jacob Lee Rowe were united in marriage on May 7th, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. at Rocky Point Baptist Church in Stephenville, Texas. 

Charly’s longtime youth minister, Joe Baucom, performed the ceremony.  Pastor Richmond Goolsby offered the Welcome Prayer.  Charly was escorted by her father James Lasyone.  Laresa Kitchens, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor.  Bridesmaids included long time friend Katie Campbell, college friends Kelsie Attaway, Callahan Clinton, Alyssa Hilts, Maggie Sears and Hannah Rowe, sister of the groom.  Hannah and Haley Herrera, friends of the bride, and McKenna Rowe, cousin of the groom, served as flower girls. Gloria “Sis” McDougal served as Charly’s honorary grandmother in the absence of her late grandparents.  Nathan Bural, long time friend of the groom, served as best man.  Groomsmen included Max Rowe, brother of the groom, Jonathan Conley, brother of the bride, and college friends Jonathan Attaway, Matthew Hilts, Ryan Cherry and Jackson Crawley.  Jayden Gerstenberger, cousin of the bride, served as ring bearer.

Charly is the daughter of James and Traci Lasyone of Early, Texas.  Jake is the son of Eric and Eva Rowe of Alvarado, Texas.  Jake’s grandparents include Don and Ann Rowe of Alvarado, Texas and Dave and Dink Portnoy of Irving, Texas.  Celebrating with the family from Heaven were Charly’s grandparents, Barbara Morgan, Bill Morgan, Judith Spruill, close friend Dave Thomas and Jake’s grandmother Patricia McKenzie and Aunt Pam Pattullo.  

A reception and dance followed at the College Life House in Stephenville, Texas.  Steve Bailey of Early, Texas provided the music.  Lemon’s Barbeque served the guests with a brisket dinner.  Edwina Cherry and Laura Taylor served the cake table.  Amanda Deeds served the candy bar.  Kayla Dickerson attended the guest table.

Charly is a 2007 graduate of Early High School and currently works as a nanny.  She will begin pursuing her nursing degree in January 2012.  Jake is a 2011 graduate of Tarleton State University and is currently serving as youth minister for Harvey Baptist Church in Stephenville. 

After enjoying a honeymoon in Montego Bay Jamaica, the couple now reside in Stephenville, Texas.
