Mike Corley, Brownwood’s first ever appointed police chief, was sworn in for duty on Monday, May 3rd. City & county officials, police officers, and the public were on hand to welcome the new chief to Brownwood.
The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce and Convention & Visitors Bureau welcomed Chief Corley and his family to town with a gift basket with items from the Brownwood Store.
Chamber Director Laura Terhune presented Chief Corley with the basket during the reception that followed the swearing-in ceremony.
