Community Invited to Soul Food Luncheon May 7th

A Soul Food luncheon will be hosted by Revitalizing Our Community (ROC) on Wednesday, May 7th.

Meals of smothered pork chops, meatloaf and tasty “fixins” will be served, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the Bennie Houston Community Center, located at 505 Cordell in Brownwood.  Tickets will soon be available for $10 each from the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce, KOXE and KXYL radio stations.

Revitalizing Our Community is a non-profit organization that has a vision to rebuild and rejuvenate the community by encouraging and helping develop its youth.
