Even though we can expect a return to summer heat, the current cool spell is a reminder that fall is fast approaching. This is an invitation to all interested gardeners and friends of the Brownwood Area Community Garden to meet and share favorite fall and winter crops and gardening strategies, this Sat. Aug. 25, at 10 am under the shade arbor at the Garden.
Garden Coordinator Daniel Graham will have a handout with recommended plants and planting dates.
There are also a few plots available to lease, so come this Sat. from 9am-noon to fill out an application, or call 641-9020 to make an appointment. See you at the Garden!
